What does a day in the life of a route manager look like? Well I pretty much have the morning to do whatever I need to do for myself then by 1 pm I head out to start knocking on doors and talking with customers.
Most days, I keep working until it’s dark. My job is to optimize my technician’s route for the next day, so that they can service more houses in a day, and so that they aren’t just wasting time between jobs. Most of my time is spent knocking on people’s doors in the area where my technician will be working the following day.
I’ve found that a lot of people misunderstand me as I go door-to-door. They think I’m out there trying to “swindle them into buying” or something like that, but that’s not true. The only reason I work for this company and feel comfortable going door-to-door is because we truly offer the best pest control service in the greater Seattle area. My technicians go above and beyond when they service people’s houses, and all of my customers have been very satisfied with the service and the results. I feel privileged to work for a company that has such great owners, an amazing office staff and well-trained technicians.
