“I love to take my loved ones out on picnics,” Coen expressed. “There are so many different beautiful parks and small forested areas so close to home, it’s awesome!”
People want to know information pertaining to them and their area specifically. We had Coen answer some commonly asked pest control questions specific to the Hillsboro area. Below you can read the questions we asked and Coen’s responses:
“My favorite thing about working as a Technician with Insight has to be that feeling you get when you did a great job for a customer and they are truly happy with the results. That makes my day every time.”
Coen is a great example of hard work and service. He not only services our customers homes, he serves them and creates a comfortable environment where the customer can learn what he is doing and how it is beneficial for their home. At Insight Pest Control, we value our customers and expect our technicians to treat them with respect and kindness, just as Coen does.
“I think the most common pest issues right now in the Hillsboro area are ants on the interior and actually rodents on the exterior because of a lot of new development areas pushing the rodents into certain residential areas.”
“The most common treatment we do for ants is a crack and crevice liquid application on the interior with our B&G sprayers to clear the interior of the home and keep it clear as well as the usual liquid application on the exterior foundations of the home.
The majority of services we do for rats include using traps and rodenticide in bait stations. The coolest part is the preventative maintenance we do with all types of exclusion work for rodents. That includes replacing and fixing vents and anything we can do to prevent rodents from entering the home.
Lastly, we are seeing wasps more often now with the weather starting to heat up. We remove any wasp nests as long as we can physically treat it, and let me tell you sometimes those Paper Wasps can make some pretty big nests high up on someone’s property.”
Insight Pest Control wants to continually take care of our customers, both by treating their homes and encouraging them to take necessary steps to prevent pest issues.
“Some of the best advice I can give a homeowner to keep their home clear of pests would be to simply clean up after yourself and around the home,” Coen said. “A lot of the time in-home pests, like rats and ants, are initially drawn to the home because of clutter, debree, and food being left out.”
Coen will continue to service homes in Hillsboro and the surrounding areas with professionalism and respect. If you need a good exterminator, contact Insight Pest Control to take care of your pest control needs.
“As a kid I never thought I would be a Field Technician for a Pest Control company, but I am loving every minute of it,” Coen said. “You get to see new places and learn a lot about your trade everyday which is one of the best parts. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”
