My name is Austin Brown. I was born and raised here in Federal Way, and I am currently working on earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering. This summer I decided to come home for my break and work with the awesome team at Insight Pest Solutions. We have a great team of people who support each other and are committed to doing the best we can to help those we service.
As a Route Manager, I’m out on knocking doors every day, talking to and meeting new people. A typical day for me includes our morning correlation meeting where the other route managers and I get together to set goals, learn and practice relevant skills. Then we head out to our areas for the day to start knocking. I knock anywhere from 7 to 8 hours a day. Not everyone is excited to see me, but every day I run into great, nice people who brighten my day and make it worth it. And I have to say, I never knew how many bugs there were around here until I started this job!
I’m not the best salesman, and I don’t always know what to say or how to say it, but I love being able to help people protect their homes and families from little intruders and offer something of value to people.
